About Jitolee Good Friends Foundation

Volunteering for a Better World

Founded in 2014 by Fredrick Sadia as a small, loose entity , Jitolee Good Friends Foundation is a non-profit organization whose name is a Swahili word for "to Volunteer". We strive to create mutual collaborations and partnerships to help communities achieve sustainable development. We believe that change is a gradual process and that when we work together, we can achieve the desired outcome.

What We Provide

We purpose to create mutual collaborations and partnerships to support communities in realizing sustainable development. We are keen on championing for development through volunteering in all its cross-cutting means of implementation. We intend to support our National development goals and the overarching Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Good Friends Volunteer Exchange
This program offers an opportunity for national, regional, and international volunteers to meet, co-create, and implement projects. It intends to maximize community volunteers engagement while appreciating the integration of regional and international volunteers.
Rural Education & Technology
This program targets poor and brilliant children in rural communities in Kenya by providing school learning materials, partial or full scholarships, and mentorship. We also aim to improve ICT infrastructure and increase access to new technologies in rural areas.
Healthcare & Gender Empowerment
We champion for access to timely and quality healthcare in rural communities, with a focus on children, youth and women's health. We also empower women in rural areas to be economically self-reliant through agriculture and entrepreneurship.
